What are eStatements?
An eStatement is an electronic version of your paper statement.  Viewable copies of your First Federal Bank of California checking, savings, and money market account statements are available through FirstFedOnlinesm.

What are the benefits of eStatements?

Time savings, fraud reduction and security.  With an eStatement, you can view secured account information online without having to wait for a statement to arrive in the mail. Statements can be accessed anywhere, anytime through your online account.  Your financial records are maintained in a secure environment for you to access through FirstFedOnlinesm 128-encrypted password protection.  You will no longer have to worry about financial statements getting lost or intercepted in the mail.

Is there any special software needed to view my statements online?
Yes. Your eStatement is presented in a PDF format through Adobe Reader.  To download a FREE version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, click on the www.adobe.com link and follow the instructions after clicking on the Get Adobe Reader button.

How many statements can I view online?
Once you activate eStatements, you will receive your first eStatement after your next statement date. FirstFedOnlinesm will hold up to 18 months of your account statments.

If you selected to receive both eStatements and paper statements, you will receive them for 90 days. At the end of 90 days, paper statements will be discontinued.

Are there fees associated with accessing eStatements through FirstFedOnlinesm?

First Federal Bank of California does not charge a fee for accessing your statements online.

How do I start receiving paper statements again?
To receive copies of your paper statements, contact a FirstFed Direct associate at 1.800.226.5332 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm Pacific Time, excluding holidays.

How can I print and save an eStatement of my checking account?

When you log on to FirstFedOnlinesm you can view or print your statement by selecting the"View eStatements" link found on the Account Detail page. Once the desired statement is displayed, simply select "File>Print for text formatted statements" or click the Printer icon within Adobe Acrobat for PDF formatted statements. Adobe Acrobat will also allow you to "Save a Copy."  Within the "Save in" drop-down menu, click to select a location in which you would like to save the file.  Then click "Save."

What do I do if I receive an error telling me that I cannot enable an account for eStatements?
In order to activate and view eStatements through FirstFedOnlinesm, you must be the primary account holder.  In addition, the account that you are trying to set up may be part of a combined statement, of which you are not the primary account holder. If you are not currently receiving the combined statement by mail, you will not be able to access the combined statement via eStatement.  For specific account information, Contact a FirstFed Direct associate at 1.800.226.5332 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time, excluding holidays.
